About Victory
Victory Combat Sports Academy is a family-oriented sports academy in Lubbock, TX that attracts and produces highly skilled athletes not only in combat sports, but all sports due to our professional environment, coaching competencies, and comprehensive mindset training. We lead, serve, and coach from the belief that as we think, so we are. We are in the habit of building champions from the inside out. As a company, we conduct business consistent with integrity and mutual benefit, for as we give so shall we receive.
We offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, and Sports Performance Training. Our staff is fully licensed and trained to instruct every student. We specialize in group class training as well as private training, with a personal and passionate guarantee you will leave feeling satisfied and strong.
Shannon Morton

The founder and owner of Victory Combat Sports Academy, Shannon discovered her passion for martial arts in 2001 when she attended her first karate class. After many classes taken and taught, numerous competitions, and tournaments, she earned her black belt in 2004 from Sensei Darren Walters.
She partnered with a local fighter/coach in 2013 to open her first mixed martial arts gym where she combined her background in teaching, love for fitness, and passion for combat sports. As her knowledge of the sport grew and her team solidified she ventured out on her own to open Victory in 2019.
